There is harem related issue to consider and not to mention the annoying facts. I'm alergic to harem and sad ending so most of the time I try to avoid historical dramas (Kingdom related stories). However, since I love wuxia (story where characters have heaven defying abilites like flying etc) I still look for historical dramas.

I'm not really a fan of reincarnation theme, but as long as the story could weave an acceptable arch I'm okay with it. Love should bring us happiness thus I don't want to end up with a broken heart after watching a romantic drama.Fixyhttp://sharingtotheworld.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-107979833815981006.post-29872812949862274152017-10-22T14:40:32.586-07:002017-10-22T14:40:32.586-07:00I think I love the story, the actor who played BZH...I think I love the story, the actor who played BZH (Wallace Huo) character was awesome. The Demon ruler actor was awesome too, the acting was awesome, everyone did a great acting job. I applaud. I am African by descent and in my culture, we don't do such flying and sword swinging, so, makes me love Chinese movies and dramas from the first time i saw them. Its mystically fascinating and curious. I love Chinese ancient stories, i can watch them over n over , the flying thingy and swords too, makes everything uniquely associated to it. But the endings of most romantic dramas not only Chinese but Asian story line is strange, sad endings first , just like Indian Bollywood dramas, all or most of the endings esp romance are sad and terrible, no one lives happily ever after and these Reincarnation issues, i know i come from a culture that doesn't believe in reincarnations entirely, but its too weird and too much.... 'Live everyday of life, as if its your last', is the motto i believe in, i.e. you make the most of the life given to you, knowing you only live once, seek love, peace and pursue it until you have it... why die and be reborn and suffer again before being happy.... rrraaahhh the ending is not so clear, would have rather it ended where they (BZH and HQG) get their wish and live happily ever after ... why save HQG to live as teacher and disciple forever??? SMH whats up with that.... just love and get it over with.... am sorry but those are my sentiments.... The ending, of most of these Chinese romantic dramas always leaves me with a heartache... is it supposed to be this way.... I hope Chinese people, are not this way... always love is sad (*light moment*)*Joking seriously*Soulsonghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06245677310803974078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-107979833815981006.post-16534111240988262242017-04-16T20:09:16.685-07:002017-04-16T20:09:16.685-07:00Hi Broxa Cross,

This drama is intensely painful not only because of the hateful unclear ending but also the part that happened because of BZH. I never hated BZH that much until he put HQG in that cross and then sentence her to Hell.

I never like love that forgives all and everything. The one who knowingly makes his beloved suffers needs to be punished heavily. They don't deserve I love you no matter what.

The Journey of the Flower hurts. If only they could give us a slightly different ending.Fixynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-107979833815981006.post-45519511207690335152017-04-13T10:33:31.599-07:002017-04-13T10:33:31.599-07:00Its 12:29 AM and I’m still weeping while writing t...Its 12:29 AM and I’m still weeping while writing this one. The most suitable ending for me is when BZH looks like an insane man while holding HQG in his arms, full of regrets, pain and suffering. HQG gave him a deserved punishment. From start to finished HQG has a very kind and pure heart. Her sacrifice, suffering was unthinkable. A BZH action crosses the wrong line. At first I had sympathy for him because of his position and he really cares to HQG. He did love her showing with his actions, but he deserved HQG’s punishment. Will I watch this again? I don’t know. It was too painful for me. I think I will only watch the good memories and the last one how she cursed him.. But to those who read this, don’t get me wrong. It was a great drama, great story, character all of it.. Definitely one my favorites. It was indeed a great journey.
“The ones who loved me died for me. And yes La Ya Bang (Nirvana in Fire) is awesome.

Actually I really like all that flying and fighting scenes in Chinese ancient story. Those logic defying skills are actually the highlight and the very things which differentiate it from other genres. A true banana ...Hi, I am a Malaysian born Chinese. A true banana really. I only started watching Asian dramas and movies about 3 years ago and for the first 2 years, only watch Korean dramas. However, last year, I started to watch Taiwanese and Chinese dramas, modern and historical ones as well. The first historical Chinese drama I watched was Scarlet Heart and it blew my mind; I started to read up a bit on Chinese history as well as searched for the English translation of the novel etc. After that I watched others like Go Princess Go, Love Weaves Through A Millenium and Wuxin, The Monster Killer as well as Nirvana in Fire. NIF was a very beautiful drama as well. I just completed The Journey of Flower drama today and still reading the translated novel. I normally don't like the flying about and fighting in the air but I guess if the Western world could have Harry Potter or The Lord of the Rings, I guess there should be some kind of mystical realm in Chinese dramas as well. Most Chinese dramas end in a sad note so I am glad at least there is a some what happy ending in this one. Like most people said, the ending is choppy and not well edited. Well, I hope someone will finish translating the novel so that I could finish the book.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11246518050758594100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-107979833815981006.post-23348309360035147442017-02-09T02:22:10.653-08:002017-02-09T02:22:10.653-08:00Hello, I’m a Chinese journalist.
